Game Recap
- Eagles had a good chance in the 17th minute when Ryan Armijo found some space in the middle of the field and fired a shot on frame trying to catch the keeper off his line but Evan Morris just tipped the ball over the bar to keep the game scoreless
- Royals grabbed the lead before the break as Michel Feldman scored from just outside the top of the six
- Cole Pumpian served a ball in front of goal as Ciro Bourlot Jaeggi flicked the ball as Feldman settled it with his back to goal
- Feldman turned and fired a shot into the lower left corner for the lead
- In the second half the game was relatively quiet until the 55th minute when Pumpian tested Andres Manzano Garcia in frame but he was in good position for the save
- Eagles found the equalizer in the 66th minute as Borris Nguelle played a ball to Caleb Swenson at the top of the area straight on from goal and he slipped a pass to Ryan Armijo headed toward goal as he blasted a shot into the top right corner
- Winthrop continued to pressure as Hayden Hollinger fired a shot from outside the box toward the left corner that was tipped wide by Morris
- Eagles grabbed the lead in the 83rd minute when they earned a penalty
- Diomario Adamson hit the lower left post and the rebound came back out in front as he placed the ball in the open net for the lead
- Queens had one final good opportunity in the 87th minute as a ball was served into the near post and Bourlot Jaeggi couldn't control his header as he went over the bar

- Eagles had a 14-7 advantage in total shots and a 5-3 edge in shots on goal
- Winthrop earned 10 corners in the match as Queens finished with one
- It was the first time since 2021 vs. Radford that the Eagles earned 10 or more corners in a game (had 13 vs. Radford)
- This was the 242nd home win all-time for the Eagles
