Game Recap
- The Buccaneers scored three goals over the first 12:36 of the match
- The first came in the 4th minute when Gracen Beilstein and Reese Beggs set up Fiama Hidalgo for her first of the season
- The next goal came in the 12th minute as Delaney Evers set up Danika Birch for a goal
- Less than a minute later the Buccaneers made it 3-0 as Beggs scored off a pass from Birch
- The Bucs added another later in the first half as Elin Persson scored off a free kick from Sydney Thomas
- Trailing 1-0 in the 8th minute, Jessican Gengler fired a shot on goal trying to find the equalizer but her shot to the lower right corner was saved by Jenna Moran
- Just over a minute later the Eagles earned a free kick and Gengler's shot was on frame toward the top right corner but Moran was there for the save
- Eagles tried to get some offense going in the early moments of the second half as Evyn Schokora placed a shot toward the upper left portion of the frame but was saved by Moran
- Minutes later Cordelia McIntosh had a shot blocked and then the ball ended up with Monssi Avila-Gutierrez as she fired a shot high to the right
- In the 54th minute Schokora again, but this time her short was off target
- Moment later Marianella Gillum put a shot on frame toward the left side of the goal but once again Moran was there for the save
- Gillum tried again in the 66th minute with a shot to the lower left corner that was saved
- In the 71st minute, the Eagles earned another free kick in the offensive third as Avila-Gutierrez fired a shot but Moran made the save
- Eagles finally broke through in the 86th minute when Kylie Full beat Moran with a shot to the lower left corner
Notables
- The Bucs had a 16-12 edge in total shots and 8-7 in shots on goal
- The Bucs earned four corners while the Eagles had three
- Mia Vrataric finished with four saves while Moran had six for CSU
- The goal for Full was the first of her collegiate career and now has a goal in two assists in her three seasons
