Game Recap
- The first 19 minutes didn't present much offense on either side, but Wofford broke through in the 20th minute
- Hugo Moldin fired a shot to the lower right corner as Jack Kilstrom made the diving save but around 15-20 seconds later Jakob Andersson found Kameron Gorst for the goal and a 1-0 lead for the Terriers
- In the 34th minute the Eagles tried to tie the match as Bruno Riveron Sagrero put a shot on frame but Leo Ledin made the diving save to the lower left corner
- In the 81st minute Suhong Jung looked for the equalizer with a shot to the lower left corner but Ledin was there for the save
- Eagles had a corner in the final seconds but unable to connect
Foot Notes
- Wofford finished with a 10-7 edge in total shots and 3-2 in shots on goal
- The Terriers earned eight corners while the Eagles finished with three
- This was the final tune-up for the Eagles as they'll jump into Big South play in their next contest
Looking Ahead
Eagles will be off until Saturday, Sept. 21 when they head to Spartanburg, S.C. to open up Big South Conference action against USC Upstate at 7 p.m.
