Game Recap

• Eagles first test S.C. State keeper Jada Gittings in the 16^th minute as Cordelia McIntosh's shot on frame was saved
• Sophia Balliet had a chance in the 21^st minute as Gittings was there for the save
• Abbie McCrea tried to get a late goal for the lead at the half with a shot in the 42^nd minute but Gittings made another save
• Eagles started to get some pressure offensively in the 61^st minute as McIntosh just missed a shot wide and then the Eagles earned a corner in the 64^th minute
• Following the corner by McIntosh, the Eagles were rewarded a penalty kick
• Junior Lauren Kelly stepped in and buried her first collegiate goal, which proved to be the game-winner
