Rock Hill, S.C. – The 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District women's soccer teams were announced as Winthrop had six players receive recognition.
The Eagles recognized with all-district team honors are
Monssi Avila-Gutierrez,
Kylie Full,
Jessica Gengler,
Lily Meisten,
Adelle Pruitt and
Mia Vrataric.
In order to be selected, honorees must have at least a cumulative 3.50 GPA and had to have participated in 90 percent of the team's contests or have started at least 66 percent of the games.
Avila-Gutierrez was second on the team in scoring with six points and started 12-of-14 games played. Full started 6-of-14 games in the back and played the 5
th most minutes on the team. Gengler started all 13 games she played in and finished the season with two assists. Meisten was 1-of-3 players to start and play in all 14 games of the season. Pruitt also played in all 14 games with eight starts. Vrataric played every second of all 14 games as she recorded three shutouts on the year.
