Game Recap
- Radford tried to test Winthrop keeper Jack Kilstrom with a shot 19 seconds into the match but Kilstrom made the save
- Winthrop's first shot on target came in the 9th minute as Ryan Armijo placed a shot low to the center of the frame as Alex Eydelman made the save
- Eagles struck first in the 33rd minute after earning a free kick
- Rodrigo Ferreira served the ball into the box and Diomario Adamson was on the other end with a finish for the 1-0 lead
- Eagles tried to add another quickly after the Adamson goal as Ethan Marks put a shot on frame about 25 seconds later, but Eydelman was there for the save
- Radford found a late goal in the first half to equalize before the break
- Highlanders earned a free kick and Carson Danner took the free kick and placed a shot into the top left corner and into the net
- Ethan Marks gave the Eagles the lead in the 60th minute as he found the back of the net with a shot to the lower left corner
- Ryan Armijo put the Eagles on top 3-1 as he was set up by Borris Nguelle and finished with a shot into the lower right corner
- Bruno Riveron Sagrero tried to make it a three-goal lead in the 72nd minute when his shot was turned away by Eydelman for an Eagle corner kick
- Off the corner kick, Sodai Koketsu got on the end of the service but his shot was wide left
- Eagles continued to apply pressure as Nguelle's shot was turned away by Eydelman and then seconds later Rodrigo Ferreira tried to beat Eydelman to the top left corner but the save was made

- Winthrop had a 26-10 advantage in total shots and 16-7 in shots on goal
- Eagles had a 5-2 edge in corners and the teams combined for 26 fouls
- Armijo and Marks both netted their 2nd goals of the season
- The 26 shots are the most against a Big South opponent since the Eagles had 25 vs. UNC Asheville on Oct. 28, 2023
- The 16 shots on goal were the most by an Eagle team since the 2014 squad had 18 on Sept. 21 vs. Brevard and most against a Big South foe since having 16 vs. UNC Asheville on Nov. 6, 2013
