Game Recap
- In the 30th minute Emma Smith dribbled into space and fired a shot from about 25 yards out that was off target to the left of the post as the Eagles were looking to strike first
- Radford struck first in the 38th minute as Jillian Silverstone's corner was placed right in front of goal around the six and Marley Krach headed it into the open net
- The Highlanders were applying pressure offensively in the 70th minute as they had a runs of shots that forced Mia Vrataric into diving saves to keep it a one goal game
- In the 71st minute Helena Willson's shot to the top of the frame was punched away by Vrataric for the save
- In the 74th minute Ava Kertgate looked as if her shot in traffic to the lower left corner was headed to the back of the net until Vrataric made a full extension dive to her right to tip the ball away
- Just about 14 seconds later June Stevens let one fly from outside the box headed to the top right corner as Vrataric made a diving save again
- In the 79th minute Jessica Gengler dribbled to her left from about 25 yards out and cracked a left footed shot but it was just wide of the right post
- In the 86th minute, Lily Meisten won a ball that was cleared by Radford, played a pass to Guest who then played a pass wide to Gengler
- Gengler then played a 1-2 with Guest as her pass was a little heavy toward the corner but Gengler chased it down and on her first touch she crossed the ball in front of goal
- Monssi Avila-Gutierrez made a late run and off a full volley she laced a shot into the top left corner to tie the game with 4:28 to play

- Radford had a 20-5 advantage in total shots and 8-1 in shots on goal

Winthrop will conclude its 2024 regular schedule on Wednesday, Oct. 23 when it heads to Boiling Springs, N.C. to take on Gardner-Webb at 6 p.m.
