Game Recap
- The Spartans grabbed the lead just two minutes and 11 seconds into the match when they were awarded a penalty
- Braiden Hall stepped in and ripped a shot into the upper right corner of the goal for the 1-0 lead
- In the 22nd minute the Eagles had a good opportunity to draw level when Rodrigo Ferreira ripped a shot at an angle from inside the box that forced a diving save by Cooper Jennings
- The Eagles went down a man in the 32nd minute when Diego Candia was sent off
- Jack Kilstrom made a key save in the 64th minute as Adrian Panaite had a good look from straight on goal inside the box but Kilstrom stood tall to keep it a one-goal game
- Despite playing with 10 men the Eagles were able to push the ball forward into the final third but just unable to connect, until the 89th minute
- The Eagles won the ball and Nick Guido collected it wide as he dribbled down the wing and served a ball behind the Upstate back line in front of goal as Ricardo Ferreira was on the other end, took a touch and from eight yards out blasted a shot past Jennings with 1:32 remaining to tie it up 1-1
