- Fordham tied the game in the fifth as Koratsis hit the first pitch just over the fence in left center for a solo shot
- The Rams led off the sixth with a double to center by Nogay
- Macy McCall made a diving effort on the Nogay flare to left center but the ball just hit off the tip of the glove and away from left fielder Paige Rivas allowing Nogay to reach second
- Reese Basinger who came in relief at the top of the inning worked out of the leadoff hit with a strikeout, pop out and then struck out Enoch looking to end the threat
- In the bottom of the seventh, McCall and KaDedra Temple drew back-to-back walks
- Smith stepped in and poked a 2-2 pitch down the first base line that rolled and hopped over the first base bag as Smith raced to second for the double and McCall came around to score and tie the game at 2-2
- The international tiebreaker rule was used in extra innings but Basinger came out in the 8th and retired the Rams in order
- In the bottom of the eighth with Tucker placed at second, the first two batters for the Eagles failed to move the runner over
- With two outs, Peyton Rivas walked to put runners at the corners
- Pinch-hitter Bailey Warren hit the ball hard on an 0-2 count but right at the right fielder
- After the Rams were unable to push a run across in the ninth, it set the stage for the Eagles in the bottom half
- Ella McGalliard, who took over third base in the top of the inning, was placed on second
- Paige Rivas successfully advanced McGalliard to third with a sacrifice bunt
- McCall followed with a walk and then advanced to second when Temple grounded out
- That brought up Smith, who took a 0-1 pitch and drove it through the hole at short as McGalliard crossed the plate for the win
EXTRA BASES
- Basinger tossed four innings of relieve to earn the win, improving to 4-2 on the year
- McCall's hitting streak came to an end at five games, but she extended streak of reaching base to six games
- The three hits for Smith were a career-best for a single-game and her second multi-hit game over the last three
- The Eagles have 10 wins in the first 13 games, the fastest to 10 wins by an Eagle team since the 1995 team opened up 10-3 through 13 games
