ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Winthrop lacrosse program dropped to 1-1 on the season with a 21-1 loss to Clemson's Tigers Saturday afternoon at home.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Clemson scored the first 13 goals to lead by that exact margin at the half.
• The Tigers would score seven more to lead 21-0 with 6:30 remaining.
• Scarlet Cifarelli scored Winthrop's lone goal with 45 seconds left.
