Rock Hill, S.C. – The Winthrop women's lacrosse program has announced their 2024 schedule. The full schedule can be found HERE.
 
"After a strong fall ball season of tremendous growth with Team 11, we are excited to announce our 2024 spring schedule," head coach Kara Concheck said. "We look forward to continuing to build upon the foundations we have laid this fall and are focused on preparing to the best of our abilities, one game at a time, setting us up for success not only on a national level, but within our conference as well. This group is determined to display our resilience and relentless fight and leave lasting impressions. The positive strides within our culture in year two at the helm has also been extremely rewarding and encouraging, and there are special moments ahead."
 
The non-conference schedule will feature home games with Davidson, Queens, UMass Lowell and Stonehill. Road trips out-of-conference include Duke, Eastern Michigan, California and UC Davis.
 
Winthrop will open the season at home with a non-conference matchup against Davidson on Feb. 14 at 7 p.m.
 
The Eagles will kick off conference play at home vs. Gardner-Webb on Mar. 27 and will also make road trips to Radford, Longwood, Mercer and Presbyterian.
 
Winthrop will welcome Gardner-Webb, High Point, Wofford and Furman to Eagle Field during the conference slate.
 
The 2024 Big South Women's Lacrosse Tournament will feature the top four teams in the final conference standings. The location of the championship will be TBD on May 3 and 5. The champion receives the Big South's automatic bid to the NCAA regional.
