Game Recap
- The Blue Hose struck in the 11th minute when Lina-Marie Muller beat a Winthrop defender in the box near the end line, played a ball in front at the near post to Sloan Spees who took a touch, turned and fired a shot into the lower right corner
- PC continued to apply pressure with four shots over the next six minutes, but Izzy Giarrizzi made a couple of saves to keep it a one goal game
- Eagles best chance in the first half came in the 40th minute when they were awarded a free kick from about 25 yards out just off center from goal
- Lauren Kelly's free kick over the wall to the left corner was saved by Kelly Hall
- In the 78th minute Annabel Thomas chased down a ball as she crossed into the 18 to the left of the keeper and fired a shot to the top right corner but Hall was in position at the near post and was able to make the save
- Moments later the Eagles earned a free kick and the service in front of goal took a bounce to the back post but Bryn Radvanski was unable to get a good head on the ball as it sailed wide

- The Blue Hose had a 14-5 advantage in total shots and 7-4 in shots on goal
- Izzy Giarrizzi finished with six saves, her fourth game on the season with six or more saves
