LAST TIME OUT
- The men's cross country program concluded the regular-season on Oct. 14 at the USC Upstate Invitational/NCAA Southeast Regional Preview.
- The women's program did not compete in the event.
- In the men's 8K, Daren Hinds was Winthrop's top finisher, placing 32nd with a time of 25:22.9.
- Noah Woodbury had the second-best mark for the Eagles with a time of 26:36.6 while Ivan Diaz had a time of 27:28.8 to round out the top three finishers for the Garnet and Gold.
- Diaz's mark was a new PR.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- The top 14 individual finishers will receive All-Conference medals -- the top seven will be recognized as First-Team honorees, with the remaining seven earning Second-Team distinction.
- Fan attendance is permitted but all spectators are encouraged to practice safe social distancing. Spectators are not allowed to enter the start/finish areas and must avoid going into team camp spaces.
- On the women's side, graduate student Lauren Charlton, sophomore Olivia Kemp and freshman Alexis Taylor lead the Eagles while junior Daren Hinds, sophomore Noah Woodbury and senior Maxwell Davis lead the men.
- Charlton and Taylor both won runner of the week honors on Oct. 6 while Hinds won a runner of the week award on Sep. 1.
- The men's program has seen 19 All-Conference performers and 23 All-Academic perfomers, with the most recent honorees being Theo Kahler in 2019 and Nolan Weisdorfer last season, respectively.
- The most recent best finish was finishing fifth in 2016.
- The Eagles won the conference title in 2000 and 2001.
- On the women's side, the Eagles have seen 24 All-Conference performers and 27 All-Academic performers, with the most recent honorees being Olivia Paxton in 2020-21.
- The most recent best finish was finishing fifth in 2020-21.
- The Eagles have never claimed a conference title but finished runner-up in 1986 and 1987.
