Winthrop Baseball Earns Third Consecutive ABCA Academic Excellence Award

ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Winthrop baseball program earned the Team Academic Excellence Award from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) for its success in the classroom during the 2021-22 academic year.

The Eagles were one of six Big South schools to be recognized.

To be eligible, the team must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale coached by an ABCA member. This is Winthrop's third time being honored.
