ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Winthrop baseball program fell to Campbell to close the conference series Sunday afternoon.
The Eagles are 13-32 (7-11 Big South) overall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Camels' first batter hit a solo home run off the batter's eye for a 1-0 lead
- Miller's long home run to left field tied the score in the bottom of the frame
- Campbell put up four runs in the second on three RBI singles and a wild pitch
- The Eagles had two men on in the bottom of the inning, but a strikeout ended the threat
- A two-run home run in the third extended the visitors' lead to 7-1
- Conrad came around to score in the fourth as he tripled and then raced home on a sacrifice fly
- Dillon Morton hit a towering home run to cut the lead to 7-5
- An RBI single, a bases-loaded walk, and a grand slam increased the Camels' lead to 13-5 in the sixth
- Campbell put up five more runs in the seventh for a 13-run lead
- A Camel error brought around Dillon Morton for Winthrop's sixth run of the day and a wild pitch brought in one more
- A two-run homer from the visitors gave them an even 20 runs
- Campbell put up two more runs in the ninth to provide the final margin
