Eagles Fall To Coastal Carolina

CONWAY, S.C. – The Winthrop lacrosse program fell to Coastal Carolina on the road on Friday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Chanticleers scored first less than 30 seconds into the match
  • Molly Dankowski matched that score a short time later
  • Coastal Carolina then scored the next sixteen goals for a commanding lead
  • Dankowski scored again to provide the halftime margin
  • Winthrop scored the next four goals to close the gap
  • The Chanticleers finished off the match with two of the next three goals
