Game Recap
- Eagles threatened to break the scoreless tie in the 27th minute off a corner kick
- Emma Smith's service was cleared out as Dee Burnett chased the ball down around the top of the box, turned and fired a shot toward goal
- The shot by Burnett was cleared away by a defender that went right to Annabel Thomas who tried to put the ball in the net around the top of the six but the shot was deflected wide for another corner
- That was the most dangerous opportunity by either team in the first 45 minutes as the game was scoreless at the half
- Longwood created a good chance in the 57th minute as Karleigh Minson collected a loose ball in the box from about eight yards out on an angle and turned to fire a shot wide and left into the side netting
- The Lancers grabbed the lead in the 62nd minute off a corner as the service by Kiersten Yuhas to the back post was headed home by Kyleigh Cox
