ROCK HILL, S.C.– Winthrop lacrosse will return to action on Wednesday, April 7 when they travel to Radford, V.A. to take on the Highlanders. Opening draw is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Cupp Stadium.

EAGLES AT A GLANCE
The Eagles return to action after dropping their last game, 8-5, at home against Campbell for their first Big South loss on Saturday.
Bianca Tedesco, who leads the team and conference in assists with 21, had two against Campbell. She also is third in the conference in points per game, averaging 3.78 per game.
Lauren Morris and
Alyssa Angelo have dominated on the offensive end, each totaling 16 goals on the season.
On the defense end, the Eagles had three different players record two or more caused turnovers, led by
Alyssa Angelo, credited with three.
Kimora Bailey and
Savanah Paton both had two.
Sara McGuire made 10 saves, tallying a .556 save percentage.
The last time these teams met, the Eagles won 16-14 and secured a spot in the Big South Tournament.
Lauren Morris led the Eagles with six points on two goals and four assists.
SCOUTING RADFORD
The Highlanders are coming off a pair of wins over Gardner-Webb and William and Mary. They defeated the Runnin' Bulldogs 14-9 on April 3.
In the win, Radford out-shot Gardner-Webb 36-17 which is the biggest margin by far this season. Radford had three players record hat tricks to dominate in the win over Gardner-Webb.
The team committed last turnovers, 25-15, with Rachel Rodgers forcing a team-high three of them. Lindsey Carroll leads the team in goals this season with 19 and surpassed the 100-goal milestone with 104 in her career.
Goalie Maddie Bowman has started all eleven games and has made 86 saves. The puts her in fourth in the conference averaging 7.82 a game. She currently has a 2-9 overall record, with a .340 save percentage.
