Winthrop will host the Runnin' Bulldogs in the season finale, coming off back-to-back double-digit wins over Presbyterian and Longwood.

In the wins, Bianca Tedesco tied the Winthrop lacrosse single-game assist record with seven. She enters the last game with 34 assists, a team and conference high, and 70 in her career. Her 70 helpers is fourth most in Winthrop history.

McKenna Blick leads the squad with 25 goals on the season, followed by Savanah Paton and Lauren Morris who each have 22 scores.

On the defensive end, Lauren Asher has caused 18 turnovers this season, while Sara McGuire has made 83 saves this season, a career-high, with a .449 save percentage.

Prior to the start of the contest, the Eagles will honor the graduating seniors; McKenna Blick, Rachel Miller, Lauren Morris, Bianca Tedesco, Olivia Deaver and Sara McGuire.

SCOUTING GARDNER-WEBB

Gardner-Webb enters the contest after falling 17-4 in their Big South finale against No. 1 seed, High Point.

In the loss, Gardner-Webb saw four different players find the back of the net; Talen Francis, Hannah Smith, Eilish Gately and Gabby Zerna.

Francis is the team's leading goal scorer with 33 scores on the season, while Jada Preston leads the way with 18 assists.

On the defensive end, Heather Lobas has caused a team-high 23 turnovers, while goalkeeper, Kathleen Mackey, has started in net for the Runnin' Bulldogs 12 times this season, making a career-high 106 saves.

UP NEXT

With their win over Longwood, the Eagles have clinched a spot in the Big South Conference tournament. The top four teams include High Point, Campbell, Radford and Winthrop. The semifinals will take place at the higher seed on April 30.
