ROCK HILL, S.C. – Winthrop lacrosse will travel to Kennesaw, G.A. for a rematch with the Owls on Tuesday, Mar. 30 at 2 p.m. These teams met earlier this season, with Kennesaw State scoring the game-winning goal with just over a minute to play to earn a 15-14 victory.

EAGLES AT A GLANCE
Winthrop is coming off a 17-10 win at Gardner-Webb. The Eagles are now 3-4 overall with a 2-0 record against Big South opponents.

Kennesaw State enters the match up on a three-game win streak. The Owls most recently defeated Wofford, 25-13. 

In the big win, Siena Gore broke the single-game goal record with nine, which previously stood for seven years. She is also currently ranked 2nd in the NCAA in goals scored. 

Goalkeeper Julie Weiss logged 12 saves against Wofford, tying her career high. She leads the ASUN isn total saves with 62 and saves per game, averaging 8.86.

The Eagles and Owls have met six times prior to Tuesday's contest. The series is currently tied 3-3.
