LONGWOOD SERIES HISTORY
Winthrop and Longwood meet for the 9^th time. Eagles are 1-6-1 all-time against the Lancers and won the last meeting 1-0 in Rock Hill with a Keeley Leising goal in the 55^th minute the difference. The Eagles last trip to Farmville in 2018 resulted in a 2-1 loss.  
 
GLANCE AT THE EAGLES
Winthrop is coming off a 0-0 draw against Gardner-Webb at home. Both of Winthrop's victories on the year have come on the road with a two goal victories at USC Upstate and UNC Asheville. A victory would put the Eagles within reach of a Top four spot in the Big South standings.
Ashlynn Harris, who earned the shutout against Gardner-Webb, was in goal the last time the Eagles and Lancers met in the 1-0 shutout win.
This will mark the 331^st game in the history of the Winthrop program and 162^nd regular season league contest. Head coach Spencer Smith is coaching in his 190^th game for the Eagles. Winthrop is looking for a second straight season with a winning mark overall and league play. The Eagles were 8-7-1 2019 and sported a 6-3-1 league mark.
