  • In the 30th minute, Jessica Escobar with her back to goal inside the box slipped by a Winthrop defender, turned and fired a shot that was off the crossbar and cleared away by the Eagles
  • The Blue Hose grabbed the lead in the 36th minute when Kendra Davis received a pass in the middle of the field about 35 yards out, controlled it and split two defenders off the dribble and as she approached the 18 yard box drilled a left footed shot into the top right corner
  • With just over six left in the half, Katie Colwick served a ball in front of goal as Dee Burnett was making a run but couldn't connect as it was just out of reach from about six yards out from goal
  • In the early going of the second half Lauren Uptegrove broke down right side of the field, took her defender on and worked her way into the box as she tried to beat the goalkeeper low and near post but the shot was into the side netting
  • The Blue Hose took a 2-0 lead in the 51st minute when they received two fortunate bounces and Morgan Hutchison just beat Ashlynn Harris to the ball and her shot around the six went into the net as a Leah Greene tried to slide and get in the way
  • PC went ahead 3-0 less than two minutes later when Kori Lawrence played a free kick in front of goal and it curled its way into the far corner slipping by every player in the area
  • In the 69th minute the Eagles had a good chance as the ball bounced around in front of goal but no one could get a foot on it as the ball went out for a corner
  • Bryn Radvanski turned her defender in the 73rd minute as she dribbled into the box but her shot was off target and over the bar
  • Dee Burnett had a good look on goal from about 10 yards out off a corner but her header was high
  • Winthrop finally broke through in the 84th minute when a free kick deflected off a PC defender and Erika Brown collected the ball, dribbled and slotted it home to the lower right corner for the goal
