  • The Highlanders went up 2-0 in the 26th minute when Dondre' Robinson took a pass from Faye and fired a shot from outside the box into the lower left corner as it looked like Dean Depinto may have initially be screened when the shot left his foot
  • In the 38th minute, the Eagles were awarded a free kick out wide to the right of the goalkeeper
  • The service found Michael Smith at the back post with a great opportunity as his shot from inside the six was saved by Joseba Incera
  • The rebound came back to Smith as he directed another shot toward goal that was saved again by Incera and then as the rebound went in front of the open goal it was cleared away by a defender
  • In the 41st minute the Highlanders went up 3-0 as Toby Squire headed home a Pape Oumar Gueye service from about 10 yards out from goal
  • In the 54th minute the Eagles had another good chance to get on the board as a free kick served in to the box was dropped by Incera as he tried to catch it
  • The ball bounced to Ben Goodman in front as he slipped a pass to Andreas Jackson who had an open look at goal with three Radford defenders in front of goal and his shot was saved and cleared near the goal line
  • The rebound came outside of the 18 and Conor Stephens collected it and let one fly but his shot was high and wide
  • Radford went up 4-0 in the 67th minute when Faye converted a penalty kick
  • Moments after the penalty, Jonathan Foster found himself inside the 18 with the ball and tried to slip it past Incera as he closed in but the ball was deflected by Incera and cleared away
  • Winthrop finally broke through in the 83rd minute when Taeyoon Oh played a long ball behind the Radford defense to Michael Smith
