GLANCE AT THE EAGLES
	- Eagles enter the tournament having won three straight, outscoring opponents 30-5

HEAD COACH WINDY THEES
	- Head coach Windy Thees is in her third season at Winthrop and in her 17th season as head coach of a collegiate softball program
- Spent five seasons at Georgia State & College compiling a 163-92 record followed by six years at Memphis (172-151) and three seasons at Ole Miss (69-94)
- In her 17 seasons she's compiled an overall record of 456-381 and a record of 293-289 at the helm of a D1 program
- Led Ole Miss to five wins over nationally-ranked opponents that included a 2-0 victory at #1 Florida in 2014
- In 2003 she led Georgia State & College to a runner-up finish in the Division II National Championship
- Thees was a four-year starter at Florida State as both a catcher and second baseman
RECORD BOOK WATCH
	- Westbrooks now has 114 career RBI and 7th all-time (one behind 6th place and nine behind 5th)
- She needs 28 to become the all-time leader in RBI at Winthrop
- Gilreath moved into a tie for 2nd on the all-time homerun list with 30 while Westbrooks is tied for 6th  all-time with 22 homeruns
- With 62 career walks, Gilreath ranks 8th all-time
- Westbrooks has 56 career walks and is now tied for 10th all-time
- Westbrooks is 14th on the all-time hit list with 180 and 16 hits away from cracking the Top 10
- Westbrooks is also moving up the ranks in doubles with 36 in her career, which is 8th
- Watson is one win away from the program's Top 10 and reached 300 career strikeouts in the win over Furman
- Watson is now 8th all-time in strikeouts and became the 10th player in program history to record 300 strikeouts in a career
- Her 341 career strikeouts put her 7th all-time (72 away from 6th)

Eagles will hit the road to open up Big South Conference action, traveling to Buies Creek, N.C. Mar. 19-20. The Eagles will play a doubleheader on Mar. 19 starting at 5 p.m. and then wrap-up the series on Saturday at 1 p.m.
