Game Recap
- Both teams had scoring chances in the first half, but after 45 minutes the game was still scoreless
- Alex Perez had a good look outside the box in the 3rd minute but her shot was low and wide of the post
- Angelica Castro had a chance in the 11th minute but her shot didn't have enough pace and Jenna Moran made the save
- The Bucs had four shots with two on goal in an eight minute span but Ashlynn Harris made two saves
- Winthrop had a good chance in the final minute of the half as Katy Fescorn served a ball in front of the goal outside the six, but the Bucs defense was there to stuff Bryn Radvanski's shot
- Bri Robinson broke through for the Bucs in the 67th minute for the game-winning goal
- Erin Rush was wide and played a pass to the middle to Robinson who then turned to set up her right foot and struck a shot from about 25 yards out that went toward the top right corner and over the head of Harris
- Charleston Southern finished with a 12-5 advantage in shots and 3-2 edge in corners
