Bryant Jimenez-Pearce has been named the Big South Conference Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Jimenez-Pearce is coming off a two-goal game that helped lead the Eagles comeback win over Radford on Oct. 30. Jimenez-Pearce converted a penalty in the 86
th minute to bring the Eagles within a goal and then played a part in the game-tying goal with three seconds left in regulation. Then in the second overtime he curled a corner kick into the far post for the victory in the 103
rd minute. With his two goal performance, Jimenez-Pearce is now tied for sixth in the league in points and tied for seventh in points per game.
This is the second time the Eagles have received the conference's offensive player of the week honor as
Ethan Stevenson earned it Oct. 4.
