Game Recap
- There wasn't much action offensively over the first 32 minutes of the match but the Eagles started to apply pressure in the 33rd minute
- It started with a shot by Abbie McCrea that was saved and then a minute later Lily Meisten had a shot blocked but that blocked shot was collected by the Eagles and McCrea eventually set up Alexandra Perez for the first goal of the game
- Eagles led 1-0 at the break as the Eagles had a 5-2 edge in shots and 1-0 on corners
- In the second half, three goals came within two and a half minutes of each other
- Winthrop went up 2-0 on a goal by Dee Burnett, set up by Emma Smith
- Hampton struck back 13 seconds later on a goal by Maya Martir
- A little over two minutes later the Eagles regained a two goal advantage when McCrea set up her third goal of the game as Smith scored for the 3-1 lead
- Eagles added another goal in the 83rd minute when Angelica Castro scored off a pass from Lexi Sheely
