Game Recap
- Eagles had a good chance in the 14th minute as they were applying some pressure offensively
- Dee Burnett received a pass with her back to goal out wide and turned toward the middle as she played a ball into space as Leah Greene ran on and hit a shot first time just outside the 18 but the keeper was positioned well for the save
- Campbell converted on its second shot of the match in the 26th minute
- Off a cross the Eagles failed to clear the ball and then in an effort to do so Jessica Donald slid and knocked the ball out to the 18 as Emma Bushee ran on and ripped a shot into the lower left corner
- In the 42nd minute the Eagles were putting pressure on offensively as a cross was cleared out to the 18 and Bella Hovis ran on and struck a shot that was handled by the keeper
- Campbell struck in the early moments of the second half on a defensive error for a 2-0 lead
- In the 52nd minute Izzy Giarrizzi made a big save when Amber Liston ripped a shot from outside the box after beating a defender off the dribble but Giarrizzi tipped it over the bar
- A minute later the Camels pushed the lead to 3-0 on a goal by Cameron Turner
- Campbell added three more goals for a 6-0 lead but the Eagles avoided the shutout in the 84th minute
- Lexi Sheely played a pass to the middle as Leah Greene just beat the defender to the ball slipping it by her, then took a couple steps as she ripped a shot from 25 yards out into the lower right hand corner
Notables
- Campbell had a 12-4 advantage in shots and 9-3 in shots on goal
- Greene scored her second career goal and first since 2019, which both have come against Big South opponents

Eagles wrap-up the regular season on Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 6 p.m. when they host UNC Asheville.
