Windy Thees announced the 2021 schedule that includes 24 home games and five tournaments.
The Eagles will have 24 of their first 25 games in tournament competition as they'll travel to Florida, to Georgia twice and will host two tournaments.

Squeezed in between the first two tournaments is a single-game at North Florida on Feb. 16. The remainder of the non-conference contests include North Carolina Central (Apr. 8), and Clemson (Apr. 13.).
Winthrop has three home dates against non-conference opponents when it hosts North Carolina A&T (Apr. 6), South Carolina State (Apr. 21) and Coastal Carolina (Apr. 27). While the game against N.C. A&T is a single-game the Eagles will play a doubleheader against S.C. State and Coastal.
Eagles are set to open the league slate Mar. 19-20 on the road at Campbell. Winthrop will also play league road series at Charleston Southern (Apr. 2-3), and Radford (May 7-8). The league schedule at home includes weekend series with Longwood (Mar. 27-28), Presbyterian College (Apr. 10-11) and USC Upstate (Apr. 16-17). Winthrop will host Gardner-Webb in a doubleheader on Mar. 23 and then a single-game on Mar. 31.
The 2020 season was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the Eagles did get in 23 games and posted a 12-11 mark against good competition. The Eagles return their entire pitching staff and seven starters from an offense that averaged 5.1 runs per game last season.
