Winthrop Highlights
- Olivia Esselman had a Top 10 finish (8th) on the women's side with a time of 19:07.2
- Jesse Defalco had the second best time on the team at 21:47.9, placing 39th while Sidney Jenkins was 41st at 21:49.5
- Will Metcalf-Shull led the way for the men as he placed 19th with a time of 26:54.3
- It is a personal best by Metcalf-Shull in an 8K race, bettering his mark of 27:07.3 he set at the 2019 High Point Vertcross
- Jeremiah Boyd was second on the team for the men with a time of 28:22.8 as he placed 39th

"I was real proud of how the men stepped up while missing three of our Top 4 runners due to Covid protocols. The women ran exceptionally well without two of the Top 3 runners and Oliva Esselman ran her best collegiate race."
