Rock Hill, S.C. – The Eagles erased a 19-point deficient but just couldn't complete the comeback over the USC Upstate Spartans on Friday night at the Coliseum, falling 56-49. Winthrop falls to 2-3 on the season and 1-1 in Big South play.
