WINTHROP AT A GLANCE
Winthrop is coming off a come-from-behind victory over Radford Wednesday afternoon.  The Eagles took advantage of two man-up opportunities to turn a two-goal deficit into a two-goal lead.  Mia Creighton led the Eagles with five goals while McKenna Blick added four goals and one assist.  Lauren Morris finished with six points on two goals and four assists.  Goalie Alaina Girani finished with nine saves in the victory.

SCOUTING HIGH POINT
High Point enters Saturday's matchup unbeaten in conference play at 5-0 and 12-4 overall.  The Panthers came into the week ranked 25th nationally.  High Point has defeated its five conference opponents this season by an average of 18.6 goals per game.  Abby Hormes leads the Panthers offensively with 79 points on 50 goals and 29 assists.  Five other players have scored at least 20 goals this year.  Sarah Zeto has played the majority of minutes in goal, earning all but one decision, allowing only 10 goals per game.

ALL-TIME AGAINST HIGH POINT
High Point and Winthrop have played the most of any conference opponents.  The Panthers hold a 7-3 lead in the all-time series and have won the last three including last year's Big South title game.  Winthrop's three wins came in a row from 2015-2016.  The Eagles have defeated the Panthers only once in the regular season, coming in 2016.

WHAT'S UP NEXT
The Big South Tournament will start next Friday, April 26 at the top seed.  Winthrop has secured a spot in the tournament but can finish either first or third depending on Saturday's results.  A win for High Point and the Panthers have the top seed.  Winthrop requires a victory and a loss by Longwood to earn the top seed.
