RALEIGH, N.C. – Winthrop men's tennis (2-3) split its pair of road weekend matches, falling 7-0 at No. 25 NC State Saturday evening at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center, then taking a 7-0 sweep of NC A&T in Greensboro, N.C. Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED 
-NC State took the doubles point with wins on courts two and three, leaving court one unfinished with Diego Quiroz/Connor Williamson tied 4-4 with State's Ivan Saveljic/Igor Saveljic.
-The Wolfpack would flex its national ranking, taking all six singles courts in straight sets.
-The Eagles reversed their fortunes against the Aggies Sunday, sweeping all courts, including all three doubles courts.

NOTABLES
-Senior Aditya Gokhale earned a shutout 6-0, 6-0 victory at the No. 5 position against A&T's Jordan Lawrence.
-Freshmen Lluis Miralles and Alberto Tinagli each earned dominant victories in singles play against A&T, winning 6-2, 6-1 and 6-2, 6-0, respectively.
