Winthrop and Davidson squared off in 2017 at Alumni Soccer Stadium in Davidson as the Wildcats overcame a 1-0 halftime deficit for a 2-1 win. The game-winner came in the 86

A GLANCE AT THE EAGLES
The Eagles continued to create scoring opportunities in their 3-1 loss to Georgia State at home on Sept. 8.
Alfie Rogers ended the Eagles scoring drought in the 41
st minute for a 1-0 lead against the Panthers. The difference in the game was about an eight-minute span as the Panthers netted three goals. Winthrop created a few more chances but were unable to convert as they worked hard to get back in the game. This is the fifth straight home game for the Eagles as they look to end a three-game skid.
