  • Jordan Walshaw served a corner and Davis Bryan headed the ball toward the right corner but it was cleared away by a Wofford defender
  • Michael Smith had a good opportunity in the 62nd minute as he made a run to the front post and tried to bury a cross on the ground but was bumped as he made contact and the shot sailed just high and wide of the top right corner
  • The only goal of the match came in the 72nd minute when Connor Donohue netted his second of the season
  • The Terriers got the ball wide and Walt Stevens played a ball on the deck in front to Donohue, who hit the shot first time toward the right corner of the goal
  • Winthrop's Jack Pondy committed to the shot and looked to be in position to make the save but the shot deflected off the leg of a defender on its way to goal and into the open frame
  • There was a good chance for the equalizer in the 75th minute as the ball deflected out toward the top of the 18 after a cross and Marc Carreras had a good open look at goal as he fired a shot first time but a Wofford defender was able to close in and block the shot
