  • Winthrop took a 2-0 lead in the 24th minute when Marc Carreras tapped in a rebound into the open net
  • Jordan Walshaw cut the ball back in the box and fired a shot on frame forcing a save as Carreras positioned himself right in front where the ball redirected
  • Bryan Davis put the Eagles on top 3-0 less than a minute later when he settled a throw-in from Miles Rapp and in one motion turned and fired a shot off the post in the lower right corner
  • Jonathan Foster made it 4-0 in the 43rd minute as he made a run to the front of goal and Leif Estevez found him in stride as Foster struck the ball first time into the net just inside the six yard box
  • Walshaw scored on a penalty in the 54th minute and then picked up an assist on the 6th goal of the game
  • Walshaw struck a free kick from about 25 yards out that was initially saved by the goalkeeper but Estevez crashed the goal mouth and beat everyone to the ball to place it into the net first touch
