ROCK HILL, SC – The Winthrop lacrosse team looks to snap a three-game losing skid Thursday afternoon as the Eagles play host to the Sacred Heart Pioneers at 3 p.m. at Eagle Field.

EAGLES AT A GLANCE
Winthrop took on the eighth-ranked Navy Midshipmen Saturday evening and had a strong performance overall, falling 22-11. The Eagles were led by
Nicole Beatson who tallied seven points on four goals and three assists. Winthrop scored on 11 of the 13 shots that it put on goal.
Beatson is tied for the team-lead in goals with
Katherine Judge as both have totaled 10 this season. Beatson 15 points as she has added five assists and is followed by
Kristen Shriver's 11 points on five goals and six assists.
SCOUTING SACRED HEART
Sacred Heart comes to Eagle Field with a 0-4 mark this season with a 0-3 record on the road. The Pioneers are coming off a three-goal loss to Quinnipiac on Saturday.
Junior Hannah Wise has led Sacred Heart in scoring this season, totaling eight goals. Senior Averi Farhat has six points on two goals and four assists, leading the team in helpers. Paige Hammick has played every minute in goal this season, allowing 14 goals per game while making 41 percent of her saves.
ALL-TIME AGAINST SACRED HEART
Thursday will be the first-ever meeting between the Eagles and Pioneers.
