WHAT'S AT STAKE
While the Eagles wrap up their conference schedule Saturday, the remainder of the Big South will play final matches on Tuesday.  Winthrop currently sits in a three-way tie for sixth but would be seeded seventh after tie breakers.  With at least a draw, the Eagles will guarantee a tournament spot.  Winthrop could still get into the tournament with a loss but would need UNC Asheville to lose or draw one of its last two.  With a victory, the Eagles could finish as high as third.

SCOUTING LONGWOOD
Longwood hasn't played since October 13, a 1-0 loss to the Gardner-Webb Bulldogs.  The loss snapped a four-match winning streak for the Lancers.  Emilie Kupsov leads the team with eight goals and 17 points.  Madison VanDyke has played the majority of minutes in goal, earning all 15 decisions.  She has allowed only 1.36 goals per game while making 73 percent of her saves.

SERIES HISTORY
The Eagles and Lancers have met on six previous occasions but Winthrop is winless as Longwood holds a 5-0-1 record.

WHAT'S UP NEXT
The seedings for the Big South Tournament will be announced on Wednesday after the season's conclusion on Tuesday.  Quarterfinals are scheduled to be played Oct. 26-28 with the semifinals and championship Nov. 2 and 4 at the Matthews Sportsplex in Matthews, NC.
