- Junior Phoebe Wu led the Eagles with 12 kills and 14 Digs
- Senior Keaupono Fey also helped the Eagles when she had 9 kills and .333 hitting percentage
HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1
- Both teams fought back-and-forth until Campbell went on a 6-0 run
- Winthrop came back to tie it 16-16 with Marion Vaucher having two kills
- The Eagles did not let Campbell come back as they went on to win 25-21 with a kill by Tanja Neyer
Set 2
- The Eagles started the set with a 7-3 run with two kills by Wu
- The Camels fought back to tie it at 10 a piece
- Both teams kept it close but Winthrop held it to win 25-21 with a kill by Sydney Gunter
Set 3
- Campbell came out of the break on fire starting the set on a 10-6 run
- The Eagles fought back to tie it at 15 and both teams kept it close the rest of the match
- Winthrop wins 26-24 after two attack errors happened by Campbell

The Eagles will be back in action next Friday at home when they take on Presbyterian College beginning at 7 p.m.
