• Senior Keaupono Fey led the team in kills tonight with 10 with hitting percentage of .476
• Junior Carlie Skelton led the team with 12 digs

 
HOW IT HAPPENED
 
Set 1

• Winthrop and Wofford fought back and forth until the Terriers pulled away and went on a 9-4 run to win the set 25-19

 
Set 2

• The Eagles and the Terriers did not pull away from each other until the end when Wofford went on a 5-0 run to win 25-22

Set 3

• Wofford started on a 8-5 run
• Winthrop came back to tied it 9-9 and then pulled away from the Terriers to make it 13-11
• Wofford went on a run late to make it 17-13 and kept adding to win 25-22

The Eagles will be traveling this weekend to Troy, AL to be part of the Troy Invitational. The Eagles will take on Northwestern State at 12:00 p.m. and Jackson State at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Then they will take on the host Troy on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
