Winthrop and Coastal Carolina have met 107 times as the Chanticleers lead the series 58-49. Coastal has won the last nine of the last 10 meetings. This will be the first time the two teams have faced each other since Coastal Carolina's move to the Sun Belt Conference. A GLANCE AT THE EAGLES
Winthrop is coming off a doubleheader sweep of Western Carolina on Mar. 23 and has won five of the last seven games. The offense is led by junior Maddie Antone, who is looking to become the first Eagle to bat .400 or better in a season since McKenzi Corn did so in 2013 (.408). Antone currently leads the team with a .407 average and 23 RBI. Senior Leah Young leads the team with six home runs and is second with 19 RBI while freshman Ashley Westbrooks is second on the team with a .324 average and tied for third with 17 RBI. Sophomore's Keleigh Romine and Kiley Majette each lead the team with 12 starts in the circle. Romine missed the Western Carolina doubleheader with an injury but is 3-4 on the year with a team-best 3.27 ERA while Majette is 7-8 with a 3.55 ERA.

MAKING THEIR MARK
Leah Young, Maddie Antone and Paige Haley are leaving their marks in the Winthrop history books. Young became the 15th player in program history to reach 80 RBI in a career and Antone became the 16th. Young has 18 career home runs, which ranks 8th all-time and Antone is 10th all-time with 17. Young hit her 10th career triple against Western Carolina, becoming the sixth player in program history to reach 10 or more as she's tied for 5th all-time. Haley ranks 25th all-time in hits with 130 and is the team's active leader as Antone has 123 and Young has 108. Antone is currently the program's all-time leader in on-base percentage for a career at .480, pushing Lisa Kingsmore to second at .443. Haley with 55 career walks is just three from the all-time Top 10.

A GLANCE AT THE CHANTICLEERS
Chanticleers are coming off a three-game sweep of Troy at home with three one-run victories.
