HOW IT HAPPENED
 
Set 1

• Both teams kept it close until High Point started pulling away making it 19-10
• Winthrop tried to fight back but the Panthers cruise in for the victory 25-16
• Wu had five kills in the first set

 
Set 2

• Both teams battled to start off the set making it 10-10
• The Panthers went on a 7-0 run in which Winthrop had to call a timeout
• High Point finished on a 15-6 run to win 25-16
• Vaucher had three kills in this set and Wu had three kills

 
Set 3

• High Point started on a 7-3 run
• Winthrop brought in within two before High Point went on a 7-0 run to make it 16-8
• The Panthers smoothed in for the win 25-15
• Wu had three kills in this set
