Women’s Soccer Travels to Kennesaw State Sunday

Rock Hill, SC – The Winthrop women's soccer team will be looking to make it two straight wins as they go on the road Sunday to face Kennesaw State for the first time. The game will kick off 1:00 p.m. in Fifth Third Bank Stadium.

The Eagles enter the game with a 3-4 record after their home win over Marist College last Sunday. Lauren Watts is coming off a two-goal game while Greta Conboy scored her second goal of the season in the Marist game.

 

The Eagles have distributed the scoring load as six players have scored at least one goal. The Eagles have now taken 75 shots with 39 of them being shots on goal.

Defensively, goalkeeper Karly Gustafson has 27 saves thus far.

 

Kennesaw State is 4-3-1 this season after losing its last two games.
