ROCK HILL, SC—The Winthrop Eagles' baseball team will host the Eagle World Series this upcoming weekend, Friday, Oct. 30
th through Sunday, Nov. 1
st at the Winthrop Ballpark.
The Eagles will be split into two squads: the "White Team" and the "Gray Team". The weekend will consist of a three game series between these two teams.
Play is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 30 at 5:00 pm, Saturday, Oct. 31 at 2:00 pm, and Sunday, Nov. 1 at 2:00 pm.
"We are excited for the start of the Eagle World Series on Friday, said Winthrop Head Coach
Tom Riginos. "The Eagles World Series is a competitive weekend of baseball for our players and will culminate a key part of our fall practice segment."
