Game time is set for 7:00 p.m at The Athletics Complex. This is only the third time the two teams have met and Longwood leads the series 2-0. The game will be Longwood's Cancer Awareness game to raise money for cancer research.
Winthrop's (3-4, 0-1 Big South) offense has generated chances, earning a total of 138 shots on goal, but strong defenses have prevented them from capitalizing. Seniors

Grace Radler have combined for 58 shots, 11 goals and five assists. On defense,
Amelia Henderson has started the last three games in goal, making 20 saves and earning one shutout.
Longwood (4-4-1, 0-1 Big South) is trying to snap a two game losing streak, dropping its only conference game to Coastal Carolina 1-0. Sophomore Amanda Spencer and freshman Teresa Fruchterman both have scored four of the Lancers'15 goals. Olivia Colella leads the team with three assists while senior Samantha Phillips has 24 shots. Hailey Machen has started eight of nine games in goal, making 30 saves and earning a goals against average of 1.41.
