Freda netted her first career hat trick in Winthrop's 7-2 victory on the road over the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs on Sept. 27 to open Big South play. Her hat trick was the first by an Eagle since Chelsea White in 2007, and first in a conference game since Whitney Sanders in 2003. It was just the third hat trick in program history. She recorded her hat trick in just six minutes and 38 seconds, and also picked up her third game-winning goal of the season. With her six shots taken against Campbell on Oct. 1, she became the school's all-time leader for shots attempted in a season with 52.
