Winthrop University Athletics

Cooper was recently named the Big South Conference Female Student-Athlete of the Year. She's just the second female athlete at Winthrop to receive the honor. This past year Cooper became a four-time All-American when she finished 12th in the hammer throw at the NCAA Indoor Championship. She won the indoor weight throw at the Big South Championship and was named the 2017 Women's Indoor Track & Field Most Outstanding Field Performer.
