Lourdes Rosario has been named The Crons Brand Freshman of the Week by the Big South Conference after her strong offensive performances in two conference matches over the weekend.Rosario, an outside hitter from Ciales, Puerto Rico, earns her second straight conference honor as she was tabbed the player of the week last week.
Over two matches, she totaled 45 kills, an average of five kills per set and 21 digs, an average of 2.33 digs per set.  She set a career-high with 23 kills against UNC Asheville Friday evening.  She then collected her fifth double-double of the season against Gardner-Webb Saturday with 22 kills and 14 digs.
