Winthrop University Athletics

Peyton Williams was hired as the Development Coordinator in June of 2025. Peyton is a proud Rock Hill, S.C native with deep roots in his community. Growing up, he spent countless evenings attending Winthrop University events with his family, which helped spark a lasting love for local culture and sports.

In 2020, Williams left Rock Hill to pursue a degree in Business Management at Clemson University, where he further developed his leadership and organizational skills. He went on to work as an Assistant Community Manager in the residential real estate industry, gaining hands-on experience in team coordination and resident engagement.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Peyton enjoys staying connected to the game—whether he’s playing, watching, or talking sports with friends and family. He is also a volunteer at Miracle Park in Rock Hill.
