Biography

Junior (2019):

- Second Team All-Big South Selection 
- All-Big South Tournament Selection
- Made 14 appearances and starts on the mound for the Eagles, serving as the Friday starter
- Finished the year with a 7-3 record and a 4.02 ERA in 87.1 innings pitched
- Led Winthrop and the Big South Conference in strikeouts for the second year running, punching out 91 batters
- Held opponents to a .243 batting average against
- Logged 8 quality starts in 2019, including a complete game shutout against Gardner-Webb 4/18 and a complete game, one-run performance against High Point 5/22 in the Big South Tournament

Sophomore (2018): 
- Started 14 games on the mound for the Eagles
- Posted a 6-5 record with a 3.74 ERA
- Led both Winthrop and the Big South Conference in strikeouts, punching out 99 batters
- Led the Eagles in innings pitched with 89.0
- Walked only 24 batters, giving him a K/BB ratio of 4.12, tops on the team
- Pitched a complete game shutout against Longwood on 3/23, allowing only three hits and striking out eight
- Had 2 starts with 10 or more strikeouts, against Maryland Eastern Shore on 2/23 (10) and against Kent State on March 2 (12) 
- Named to the All-Big South Honorable Mention Team

Freshman (2017):
- Was selected Freshman of the Year by Perfect Game USA
- He made 24 appearances with 5 starts
- He finished third on the team in wins and ERA with 5 wins and 3.70 ERA
- He finished second on the team in opposing batting average with a .242 and fourth in IP with 56.0
